Relaxing on the terrace or cycling?

Ideally located along the Canal de Jouy, the Octopus barge welcomes you to its gite “Le Grand Large”. Located at 10 mins walk from downtown Metz, garden city, you can also reach the Pompidou center in 10 minutes with our bikes (lent for free) and discover all the architectural richness of this city steeped in history…

We fell in love with this barge as much for the location in Metz, for the garden side / nature of the location than by the boat itself!

We have demanding jobs, liberal nurse and professional firefighter but we will always find the time to welcome you!

We will be delighted to make you enjoy our little corner of paradise for a while.…

  Very pleasant barge, functional and complete layout. The Octopus is also very well located, it is the penultimate in a line of a dozen barges and moored at a level where the Jouy canal is wide, which opens up the panoramic view and accentuates the tranquility.. Samuel is very welcoming and we feel really good in his sailor's cabin !
